Solutions For Uneven Hardware Surface in Hardware Processing

What are the reasons for the unevenness of the hardware surface during hardware processing? If these problems are not solved, it will affect the appearance of the hardware product, increase the production rate, increase the cost and other adverse consequences. We have summarized and made some plans to reduce the unevenness of metal indentation from the process of production and processing.

Reasons and solutions for uneven hardware surface:

1. Inspection and maintenance of sheet metal cleaning equipment: Before production of metal presses, it is necessary to carry out inspection and maintenance at the same time to make cleaning more effective. Also pay attention to the quality of the roll gap and cleaning oil.

2. Appropriate hand speed: Conduct material testing on the produced parts before production. Reasonably set the speed and discharge angle of the manipulator so that it does not contact the manufactured parts and the lower mold, which can avoid semi-automatic stretching production. At the top of the punch, causing an uneven indentation of the metal.

3. Check and correct the cutting method: observe before pressing to prevent the iron powder from being uneven. The iron powder produced during the shearing process will also cause the metal stamping parts to be uneven after shearing.

4. Check the cut-off surface: In the cut-off mode, wearing the cut-off mode will cause a large amount of fine iron powder to stick to the front, so the cross-sectional area of the double material or the metal according to the production must be inspected and deburred to clean the plate.

5. Inspection and correction of the stretching die: In order to reduce the occurrence of uneven metal indentation, the stretching die should be inspected and maintained regularly to maintain a stable state. The usual manufacturing method is to take samples of side rings and machined surfaces (die corners, lobes) to check for sticking scratches.
