(1) CNC technology should consider the processability of machined parts, determine the clamping and positioning of machined parts, select tools, formulate process routes, cutting methods and process parameters, which can be simplified in conventional technology.
(2) CNC process design is mainly used to guide CNC programming. It combines the responsibilities of CNC technologists and programmers into one. Programmers are responsible for the CNC machining process of the whole set of molds, which improves the work efficiency.
(3) CNC machining has a high degree of automation and many influencing factors. In CNC machining, quality and safety are crucial and must be guaranteed.
(4) The preparation of CNC process shall be strictly organized. The CNC process is complex and has many influencing factors. Xiao Bian believes that the whole process of CNC processing needs to be considered carefully. Only with good organization can the CNC process be programmed well. In addition, due to the high degree of automation of CNC machining, its adaptive ability is low. Once problems occur, it is difficult for workers to correct them on site, which may cause machining defects or safety accidents. Therefore, CNC process design should be done well in advance.
(5) CNC technology has good inheritance. Any CNC process that has been proved to be good in production can be made into a template and saved as a file. It can be used when processing similar parts in the future to save time and ensure quality.
