What Are The Causes Of Punching Deviation And What Are The Remedies

Loudspeaker mesh manufacturer: What are the causes of punching deviation and what are the remedies

When we buy products, of course, we also need to look at the price in the commercial market. The detailed use of horn mesh stamping also depends on the detailed use effect. The products processed and manufactured by professional manufacturers are not only better in quality, but also in many details. Well done, that is, meeting the needs of many. So next, I will introduce the reasons for the hole punching deviation of the speaker net and what are the remedies.

When the speaker mesh is punched, the blank is out of shape. That is to say, the metal under the punch is squeezed to the surrounding, the height of the billet is reduced, the diameter is increased, the upper end surface is concave, and the lower end surface is convex. The degree of aliasing is related to the dimensions of the blank diameter D0, height H0, and hole diameter d1 before punching. The smaller the D0/d1, the more serious the aliasing.

Correction of eccentricity during the stamping process: During the stamping process, due to the unevenness of the anvil surface, the inclination of the two ends of the punch, and the uneven heating of the blank, the aperture eccentricity will occur. Water immersion method can be used for correction: during operation, immerse the thin side of the hole wall in water to lower its temperature, and then use a punch to expand the hole diameter. Due to the high temperature and good plasticity, the wall thickness of the entire forging is uniform and the eccentricity is corrected.

This method is suitable for materials with good plasticity. The correction method is to control D0/d1≥2.5~3. If the punching diameter is larger, if D0/dl<2.5, usually the small hole is punched first, and then the hole is enlarged to obtain the required hole diameter.
