Six Polishing Methods Of Perforated Mesh Metal

Six polishing methods of perforated mesh metal

1. The mechanical polishing of zinc alloy die castings is mainly a polishing method that removes the protruding part of the workpiece surface by cutting or plastically deforming the surface of the material to obtain a smooth surface. In the polishing liquid containing abrasives, the polishing liquid is pressed against the processing surface of the workpiece for high-speed rotating motion.

2. Chemical polishing means that the zinc alloy die-casting material preferentially dissolves the microscopic convex parts of the surface instead of the concave parts in the chemical medium, so as to obtain a smooth surface.

3. The basic principle of electropolishing of zinc alloy die castings is the same as that of chemical polishing, that is, to make the surface smooth by selectively dissolving tiny protrusions on the surface of the material. Compared with chemical polishing, the effect of cathodic reaction can be eliminated, and the effect is better.

4. Ultrasonic polishing of zinc alloy die castings is a processing method that uses the cross section of the tool as ultrasonic vibration to polish brittle and hard materials through abrasive suspension. Put the workpiece into the abrasive suspension and put it into the ultrasonic field together, and grind and polish the abrasive on the surface of the workpiece through ultrasonic vibration. Ultrasonic machining has a small macroscopic force and will not cause workpiece deformation, but it is difficult to process and install tools.

5. The fluid polishing of alloy die castings relies on the flowing liquid and the abrasive particles carried by the liquid to scour the surface of the workpiece to achieve the purpose of polishing. Hydraulic grinding is hydraulically driven. The medium is mainly made of a special compound (polymer-like substance) with good fluidity under low pressure mixed with an abrasive, which can be silicon carbide powder.

6. Magnetic grinding and polishing of zinc alloy die castings is to use magnetic abrasives to form brushes under the action of a magnetic field to grind the workpiece. The method has high processing efficiency, good quality and easy control of processing conditions. With suitable abrasives, the surface roughness can reach 0.1m.
